The dirt didn’t work! Neither did the concrete! Nothing will stop my growth.

Half of the things I’ve been through.
Would break the weak instantly.
I state that not to brag.
But just to show the spiritual strength and protection that I have.
Growing through, some of the most unfavorable conditions.
Never complaining! Only constantly moving forward.
That’s my definition of winning.
Pouring water into empty vessels time and time again.
Didn’t matter rather it be family, stranger, associate, or friend.
You should only pour from the overflow! is what I came to know.
Also pouring into vessels that can reciprocate pouring into your vessel for sure.
I’ve literally poured when I felt I had less than a drop.
Do you think anyone knew or realized that?
Nah, They only figured it out when the pouring stopped.
It’s true we are all connected!
But definitely wired differently!
My life really changed when I realized my connection and wires,
Are aligned with divinity.
The house African.
The field African.
And the African that rebelled.
Each one will perceive reality differently.
My growth will never be stopped because of the spirit of the rebel African Ancestors within me…..

The dirt didn’t work! Neither did the concrete! Nothing will stop my growth.………

I am glad that the dirt nor the concrete stopped your growth. If it had you would not have become that great Writer, Poet and Chef that you are today. Pouring into an empty vessel is what we have to do in order to conquer systemic racism and to educate our own race especially the youth, about our History.
