Eclipse Over Virgo 9/12
A shadow sweeps across the sky,
Virgo’s moon, once bold and high,
now cloaked in red, yet still it stays,
a lesson cast in lunar phase.
Born September, twelve days in,
where endings bow and new begins,
precision, purpose—Virgo’s thread,
yet fate has spun a loss instead.
No mother’s voice, no father’s guide,
just echoes now that walk beside.
Yet from the dark, I built my own,
a name, a life, a kingdom grown.
A father now, I light the way,
so they won’t fear the night’s ballet.
For even when the moon must wane,
its glow, like love, will rise again.
Success is not just wealth or gain,
but rising whole despite the pain.
The past eclipsed, yet never gone,
its lessons shape the man I’ve drawn.
So let the moon be veiled tonight,
I’ve learned to stand without its light.
