Family isn’t what it use to be

I remember when family stood for something.
I remember when family actually meant something.
I remember when family was all you had.
I remember when loyalty and love was the family’s motto. And you couldn’t go against that.
I remember gatherings on the weekend.
I remember when family was closer than a friend.
But now that’s mostly a thing of the past.
Now family will lie, Stab you in the back, Sell you out and a plethora of other things.
It’s kind of disheartening to be family-oriented. In a time where family isn’t
is oriented.
But I tell you what. As far as the family that comes from me.
They will innerstand that family is sacred.
And realize it’s true meaning.

Family isn’t what it use to be….

There’s certainly a lot to find out about this subject. I love all of the points you made. Fina Gardner Georgetta
